ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. THE GE ENERGY SMART™ SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older and have online access at time of entry. Officers, directors, employees and agents of General Electric Company ("Sponsor"), Method Products, Inc. (Prize Provider) or GEM Group, Inc. ("Administrator") (collectively the "Released Parties"), as well as any members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling and child) and persons living in the same household, and the respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, marketing and promotion partners, retailers, vendors and advertising and promotional agencies of the Released Parties are ineligible. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM (ET) on March 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on June 30, 2008 ("Promotion Period").

HOW TO ENTER: Between 12:00:00 AM (ET) on March 1, 2008 and 11:59:59 PM (ET) on June 30, 2008 you may enter the Sweepstakes by visiting www.gelighting.com/energysmartsweeps. Entrants may choose to play the Seek 'n' Save game ( the "Game") or can select the "skip" button to proceed directly to the entry page. Entrants must complete the registration page in its entirety before entering the Sweepstakes. Entrants must click on the "submit" button located on the entry page to complete the entry process ("Entry"). Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address per day. Using a Flash Plug-in is required to play the Game. If you do not already have it you may install a current version when prompted. Installation is free. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event that it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the natural person in whose name the e mail account is registered. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply and are entrants' sole responsibility.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: $10,000 Energy Saving Prize Pack which includes the following: (a) $1,900 in cash towards a year's home energy costs (awarded in the form of a check in that amount -- according to Energy Star®, the average family spends up to $1,900 a year on energy bills), $5000 GE Appliance credit to be used towards purchasing an Energy Star® Qualified GE Appliances Appliance credit may be used towards a choice of an energy efficient GE home appliance product(s) with a value of up to $5,000. Product(s) may include one or a combination of the following: a GE Profile Stainless Steel Refrigerator or a GE front load washer and dryer set or a GE Monogram dishwasher. Precise prize options will be determined by Sponsor based on availability, and exact prizing may vary based on Grand Prize Winner's home capacity and power source available, (b) $3,000 for energy efficient home improvements (awarded in the form of a check in that amount), (c) a $100 Method gift basket including omop wood for good starter kit, wood for good spray, wood for good microfiber cloth, all purpose cleaner, le scrub bathroom cleaner, foaming hand wash, tub & tile spray, bathroom wipes, soy candle, aroma pill, leather wipes, laundry detergent, dryer clothes, and dish soap. (Estimated Total Retail Value ("ARV"): $10,000). FIVE (5) FIRST PRIZES: $1,900 in cash towards a year's home energy costs (awarded in the form of a check in that amount -- according to Energy Star®, the average family spends up to $1,900 a year on energy bills), and the new Method omop (ARV: $1,906 each). FIVE HUNDRED (500) SECOND PRIZES: GE gift pack which includes a GE T-shirt, and the new Method bathroom cleaner, le scrub (Estimated Retail Value "ERV": $11.00 each). All federal, state and local taxes, costs and all expenses for any of the foregoing are the responsibility of the Winners. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable. No prize substitution, transfer or cash redemption allowed in lieu of prize, except at Sponsor's sole discretion, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value. Limit one prize will be awarded to any person/household.

WINNER SELECTION: There will be one (1) Grand Prize, five (5) First Prize, and five hundred (500) Second Prize Winners randomly selected on or about July 7, 2008 from all eligible Entries received during the entire Promotion Period, by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Grand, First or Second Prizes are dependent upon total number of eligible Entries received. All prizes will be awarded, provided a sufficient number of eligible Entries are received by Sponsor.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Grand Prize and First Prize Winners will be notified by telephone, e-mail or express mail on or about July 14, 2008 and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release ("Release"), unless prohibited by law, to be received by Sponsor within five (5) days of notification. Failure to return the Release within the time specified, to respond to notification attempts, the return of any prize notification as undeliverable or noncompliance with these rules will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Potential Second Prize Winners will be notified by e-mail, phone or express mail on or about July 14, 2008.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Sweepstakes and any claims relating thereto are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, excluding its choice and conflicts of law provisions. By entering, entrants agree (i) that any action arising out of this Sweepstakes must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cleveland, Ohio; (ii) irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of any such court; and (iii) waives any objection, and agrees to make no objection, to the venue of any such action or proceeding in any such court or that such action or proceeding was brought in an inconvenient court. By entering, ENTRANT WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO HAVE A JURY PARTICIPATE IN RESOLVING ANY DISPUTE, whether sounding in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising out of, in connection with, related to, or incidental to, this Sweepstakes. By entering, entrants agree: (1) to release and hold harmless Released Parties from liability, loss, injury or damage arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes and with respect to their acceptance and use/misuse of any prize; (2) to be bound by the Official Rules; (3) that the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes; (4) to be contacted by the Sponsor and/or Administrator via telephone, email or express mail regarding the Sweepstakes; and (5) to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media worldwide (including posting names online for Winners List) in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, except residents of Tennessee and where otherwise prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will be issued an IRS 1099 tax form for the ARV of their prizes by the Administrator and agree to supply any information necessary for the issuance of such a form. Released Parties are not responsible for computer, technical, mechanical, production, human, or other resulting in printing or typographical errors. Released Parties are not responsible for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware, software, malfunctions of the entrant's email provider, incorrect email addresses, lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected Entries. Released Parties are not responsible for problems downloading Entries from the website or for any other technical problems related to website Entries. An Entry, except where prohibited by law, constitutes a grant of permission to the Sponsor or its agents to include winner's names on the www.gelighting.com website and in connection with a Winner's List without further notice or without additional compensation.
