Bulb Dimensions
Incandescent lamp bulbs are sized by their maximum diameter.

Incandescent lamp specifications often include two additional dimensions. Light Centre Length, or LCL, is the distance between the centre of the filament and the bottom of the cap. Maximum Overall Length, or MOL, is the distance between the top of the bulb and the bottom of the cap.
