Indoor Functional Lighting

In industrial or commercial environments the use of appropriate illumination systems is essential for profitable growth: greater safety in the workplace, improved productivity and reduced error and reject rates. The design of the “best illumination system” is not limited only to easily quantifiable aspects, but also must also pay heed to qualitative aspects, such as visual comfort and the very appearance of the installations.
In GE we are working hard to use lighting management and energy saving systems.

Industrial HID

The common denominator of all applications is to provide sufficient illumination on work surfaces, while reducing the number of mixtures installed as much as possible. To achieve this level of efficiency together with a variety of visual appearance, it is important to have a wide range of reflectors offering a large variety of lighting distributions: direct lighting different beams (narrow, medium, large), direct-indirect lighting or diffused lighting.

In commercial areas and warehouses the best solution consist in linear systems for fluorescent lamps. These systems must provide an easy installation and maintenance and should have a variety of reflectors to get the right photometry.
In most of the cases these linear solutions are associated to lighting control system.

Xtrem Proof

Xtrem Proof
In industrial applications, the air often contains fumes, oil mist, moisture and dust, which can affect the optical performance of lighting systems. The fixtures should have an enclosed and sealed optical assembly. Also in a lot of installation it’s necessary to use luminaries fire and explosion-resistant in accordance with EN 60598-1, V2 self-extinguishing, and robust bodies, impact resistant.
Our wide range of xtrem proof Products allows the customer to make the right choice according to the type of installation and the lighting requirements.

Office Lighting

Office Lighting
Today’s workplaces are complex, fluid environments, involving a wide range of visual tasks. To cater for rapidly changing work-patterns, the lighting, using medium to high efficacy sources with excellent color rendering must also be flexible and responsive.
Intensive VDT use demands minimum glare on screens and low luminance contrast around the workstation; and to maximize individual control and reduce energy costs, dimming and control systems may also be required.
