GE´s new SHOWBIZ® CMH150PAR64 lamp sets the standard for versatility and effectiveness in architectural and architainment lighting applications. Lamps are offering architectural lighting designers and specifiers three beam spreads (spot, medium flood and wide flood) with two color temperatures (3000 and 4200 degrees Kelvin). SHOWBIZ® CMH150PAR64 lamps deliver up to 240,000 MPBC (mean peak beam candelas) with only 150 watts, outperforming standard 1000-watt quartz PAR64 lamps used in many architectural applications. Each SHOWBIZ® CMH150PAR64 lamp is rated for 8000 hours of life, which equates to two times the life of standard 1000-watt quartz PAR64 lamps. The new SHOWBIZ® CMH150PAR64 lamps are suitable for use with any standard electronic ballast or conventional ceramic metal halide ballast with igniters. The new lamps fit standard PAR can fixtures that contain lamp holders rated for 5kV.
