GE introduced its electronic ballast range in 2003.
The device is used for starting and operating discharge lamps.

GE´s ballast line includes CMH, CFL and LFL electronic ballasts.
They are energy efficient alternatives to electromagnetic ballasts and ideally suited to operate GE lamps. Besides the small compact size for all types, ballasts ensure flicker free light throughout the lifetime of the lamp.
The combination of GE lamps and ballasts meets requirements for long product life and superior performance.
