Miniaturization of HID lighting systems has long been a dream for specifiers and designers
around the world, and GE has led the field by providing a light source to make it possible: the
ConstantColor™ CMH™ 20 Watt lamp.
Now, thanks to continued investment in research and development, we are proud to announce the
incorporation of 20-plus technology into our arc tubes. The result is the most stable, efficient,
and longest lasting range of 20 Watt lamps available, with rated lives now up to 12000 hours.
We are proud to announce the 20W CMH SuperMini and 20W CMH Precise MR16, the ultimate in
compact HID lamps, all compatible with standard IEC 20 Watt Electronic ballasts.
The smallest and lowest wattage ceramic metal halide lamp available. At 20
watts, it is small enough and bright enough to outperform higher wattage tungsten halogen display
lamps.
Included in the design is a new Twist and Lock base construction (GU 6.5) which inserts into
a new BJB lampholder - developed as a result of close collaboration between the GE and BJB
Engineering teams. The GU6.5 system is robust and durable, easy to install, and provides precise
positioning of the lamp for excellent optical control within luminaires.
This integral reflector lamp has got all the advantages of CMH™ SuperMini
with high efficiency, extended life to 12 000 hours and improved colour stability. The lamp is
designed with a GX10 base, a standard format which is compatible with fixtures designed for
existing HID reflector lamps. CMH™ Precise MR16 lamps are available in a choice of 3 beam angles -
