Over the next month, we will be undergoing a conversion to SAP for a portion of our business. This conversion will affect our Fixture, Signage, Rail, Traffic, RDL, and Control product lines. The conversion will NOT affect the LED Lamp, Core Lamp (LFL, HID, INC, CFL, QTZ, HAL), or Ballast product lines. Hopefully this eliminates any confusion that existed.

Dan Jenkins Promoted to Global Product General Manager – Professional LED Lamp
First, I'm excited to announce that Dan Jenkins is being promoted to the role of Global Product GM for Professional LED Lamp, reporting to Jerry Duffy, GM Global Product Management. This promotion presents Dan with a tremendous opportunity to leverage his outstanding sales skills to help accelerate LED lamp growth on a global basis. Dan has done an absolutely fantastic job leading our U.S. Professional Sales Organization since the formation of NPS in 2012, transforming Professional Sales to become more end-user and demand-generation focused while, at the same time, building our capability to maintain and grow conventional lamp, ballast and controls share through our valued distributor partnerships. Dan's intense customer focus, strategic mindset, tenacity, and ability to lead and motivate his team members make him a special leader and person.
With Dan's promotion, I'm pleased to announce the following additional promotions. We will not be filling the U.S. Professional Sales GM role in kind.
Michele Hix Promoted to West Retail Director - Strategic Accounts
Michele Hix, U.S. Professional Sales - West Region Executive, is being promoted to a new role as West Retail Director – Strategic Accounts reporting to Erin Dillard, GM Strategic Accounts. This is one of 3 regional Retail Director roles created to help accelerate large LED project growth, as we quickly move to double the size of our Strategic Accounts team. Michele brings a wealth of sales leadership experience to her new role, including end-user/outcome selling sales roles at Amtech Lighting and Philips Lighting, and 9 years of Region Executive experience in her current role. Michele will continue to be based in Los Angeles in her new role.
Tom Scherzer Promoted to GM, U.S. Professional Sales - North
Jim Burtzlaff Promoted to GM, U.S. Professional Sales - South
With Michele's promotion, we are merging the U.S. Professional Sales West Region with the East and South Regions, expanding the roles held by Tom Scherzer and Jim Burtzlaff, and elevating the Regions to report directly to me. As a result, Tom and Jim are being promoted to report directly to me and will become members of my staff. They are both extremely strong team leaders with deep market knowledge, great connectivity with our distribution partners and agents, and established track records of delivering results despite the challenges of a transforming marketplace.
Tom Scherzer's expanded Region, to be renamed the North Region, will include all of Tom's current organization, in addition to the following areas previously part of the West Region: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
Jim Burtzlaff's expanded South Region will include all of his current organization in addition to the following areas previously part of the West Region: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
Jim Bracken Promoted to GM Channel Management
As a result of Dan Jenkins' promotion, Jim Bracken will also be assuming an expanded role. In addition to his current responsibilities including agent channel strategies, ownership of our Edison Elite relationships and leadership in lighting industry and customer trade groups, Jim will also assume responsibility for our Grainger, Graybar and LED Specialty teams. In his expanded role, Mark Lovdahl – National Accounts Manager, Graybar; Leanne Berry – National Accounts Manager – Grainger; and Sam DiMeo – GM, NA LED Specialty Lighting, will all report directly to Jim. Jim brings his outstanding background in senior sales leadership roles, tremendous lighting industry expertise and his strategic thought processes to his new role to help drive fixture sales with our national account partners.
Concurrent with Jim Bracken's move to General Manager National Accounts, LED Specialty, and Agent Channel, Rodney Alexander has been named Manager, Fixture Agents. In this role, Rodney will be responsible for all aspects of managing the Fixture Agent Network including driving utilization and enhancement of the Fixture Agent model, supporting agent processes, driving agent engagement, facilitating communication, and ownership of initiatives to further improve the Fixture Agent Network.
In addition to these changes, our Roadway and Utility Region Sales Managers will now report directly to RJ Darling, GM, Roadway and Utility, rather than to the Region Executives.
