GE LEDs connect mainland to the island of Florianópolis

São Paulo, September, 2013 - Starting this month, the Colombo Machado Salles and Pedro Ivo Campos bridges connecting the mainland to the island of Florianópolis will have new lighting. The 210 ERS2 LED's supplied by GE Lighting are being installed by the SQE LUZ consortium in partnership with the city of Florianópolis and GE.

GE Lighting is already familiar to residents and visitors to the island. In March 2012, the Beira-Mar Norte cycle lane had 366 street lights replaced with Evolve Cobrahead LEDs. The lighting project was part of the program to celebrate the city's 286th anniversary.
