Demonstrating that it is important to have multiple lighting solutions to select from, at Light+Building 2012 GE Lighting is also showcasing its new Infusion Downlight Module, which utilises the exclusive “CREE True White Technology” to provide a true ambient white lighting solution, which is ideal for offices requiring colour quality and consistency to create a comfortable working environment.

Simon Fisher and Andreas Schulz at Light and Building 2012

"The most important Metrics associated with good quality office lighting are, Choice, Quality, Maintenance, Aesthetics and Efficiency.“ explains Simon Fisher, Vertical Leader for Offices at GE Lighting. "It is frustrating that considered lighting specifications are constantly challenged an effort to save money. It's a fact of life that there will always be someone that can offer a more cost effective solution but the real danger is achieving this at the expense of colour quality and consistency. Let's not forget that there are regulatory requirements for these attributes that must be adhered to. Offering choice to the customer and a healthy balance of the Metrics above is what we achieve at GE Lighting. The smart move is to invest in the technology now, in best in class products that will keep energy costs down, last longer and crucially - maintain light quality for people in the workplace."
